PHILOSOPHY OF STUDIO RIPATTI
As an educated architect and later as an Interior architect I have consciously scaled down my interests in the field of design. From now on I am concentrating on furniture and object design, occasionally designing graphics and interiors.
My interest is focused on the human scale and form. I am fascinated by the emotional aspects of spaces, objects and materials. Each new assignment confirms my design philosophy, hones my design skills, and clarifies my personal vision as a designer.
I am constantly looking for shapes, forms, colors, hierarchies, contrasts, proportions, atmospheres and ways to make things a bit differently, trying to learn all the time.
I am searching for long lasting, bi-directional relationships with manufacturers with personality and a desire for quality both in design and in production.
